THIS WEEKS BIGGEST MUSIC NEWS

Welcome back to our weekly music round up, bringing you the best of this weeks music news.

Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts and worldwide superstar Rihanna have signed up to take part in a new fashion design reality TV show. The shows overall winner will get the chance to dress Rihanna for her headlining set at this years Wireless Festival. The show is due to air on Sky Living later this year.

Michael Jackson was immortalised with a hand and footprint ceremony earlier on this week. His three children Prince, Paris and Blanket paid tribute by imprinting his hand and footprints into cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.




MTV announced their 'Best Of The Best UK MC's' list earlier this week with Wretch 32 coming out on top. The list featured some high profile snubs with the likes of Tinie Tempah and Dizzee Rascal not appearing at all. You can view the full list below.


Single releases this week included Professor Green, Lana Del Rey and Bon Iver. The band Cover Drive topped the midweek charts with their single 'Twilight,' whilst Adele's '21' Tops the album chart once again on its 53rd week in the Chart.
