THIS WEEKS MUSIC NEWS (9TH MARCH)

British Band The Wanted are this week celebrating some chart success stateside. Their first release in America 'Glad You Came' has charted at No.4 in the America singles chart (40 places above other Brit Band One Directions first release.) The band were also part of a recent filming for the next series of Punk'd where one of the band members was arrested in a prank.




Hackers have this weeks stolen the back catalogue of The King Of Pop Michael Jackson. The archive of over 50,000 digital files was stolen when the hackers breached Sony's online database containing Michael's whole back catalogue worth $250 million.




Now onto this weeks chart news. New releases in the singles chart this week include Jakwob, Nero and Estelle. Where as on the album chart their are new releases from Chiddy Bang, Katie Melua and Bruce Springsteen. The midweek charts show Gotye look set to hold onto their position at the top of the singles chart and Springsteen's new album 'Wrecking Ball' look like it will go straight into the chart at number one.






Okay this week we are not gonna have a weird and wacky video per say. The biggest news story on the internet this week was the 'Kony 2012' campaign. This week it has been trending on Twitter with the video going Viral on Youtube. Below you can watch the video to find out more and make up your own opinions on the campaign!
